HP Photosmart 7260 Photo Printer printing problem, help?
I recently put in an ink cartridge Black KB RecType days (Recyclable) into the slot with 56 / 58 57 cartridge tri-color print. It worked fine yesterday, while printing black, because all I need. It turns on and off, Now when you print it lacks a bit of text, completely! It could be the cartridge, so clean with a damp cloth. What? How I can solve this problem?
I suggest three levels of cleaning – See A, B, C below: A. Cleaning the HP print cartridges with a toolbox. Click Start. 2. Click Settings. 3. Click Printers. 4. Click on the icon of the printer in use. 5. Click Properties. 6. Click Services tab. 7. Click Open Toolbox HP Photosmart or service this equipment. 8. Click the Device Services tab. This tab displays not in Windows XP, go to the next step. 9. Click Clean the print cartridges. 10. Follow the instructions on the screen. B. Clean ink manual 1. Turn off the printer and lift the top cover. 2. After the print cartridges have moved the center of the printer, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer. 3. Remove the print cartridges and place them all on one sheet of paper. 4. Prepare a clean, foam swab or cloth moistened without water. 5. Locate the color channels of copper foil on the back of each cartridge. 6. Clean the color bands copper with the swab or cloth. Do not wipe the nozzle end of the cartridge or touch the nozzle plate. 7. Clean the carriage contacts on the back wall of the cartridge ink cart with a foam pad or a moist, lint-free cloth. Use the foam swab or dry with a lint-free cloth to remove moisture of contacts. C. Cleaning the print cartridge cradle 1. Taking a position level with visual HP Photosmart. 2. Locate the ink cartridge base. 3. Using clean, moistened swabs, wipe the bottom of each wall of the carriage where fibers may be collected and put into contact with the paper. Repeat until no ink residue which is in a clean swab. 4. Reconnect the power cord when finished cleaning. 5. When you have finished cleaning the print cartridges and support, print a test page.
